Position: Manual & CNC Machinist

Location: Bristol

Salary: £17 - £20 per hour (DOE)

Manual & CNC Machinist required to join a well-established Engineering company that specialise in electrical, mechanical and electronic engineering services. They are based in Bristol and looking for someone that comes from a Manual & CNC machinist background, including Programming Setting and Operating experience.

Manual & CNC machinist Job Overview

• Involved in maintenance works on customer asset.
• CNC programming/Setting/Operating using XYZ
• The work can be planned, demand driven or reactive, against customer requirement.
• Responsible for ensuring the correct H&S, procurement and administration procedures are followed on every job.
• Turn shafts on lathes.
• Internal keywaying.
• General workshop machining.
• Provide knowledge and information to operational teams and customers.

Manual & CNC machinist Job Requirements

• Previous CNC & Manual Turning experience
• Competency in the respective disciplines
• Must live within a commutable distance of Bristol
• Must have Programming Setting and operating experience

Manual & CNC machinist Salary & Benefits

• Permanent position
• Salary - £17 to £18 per hour (DOE)
• Monday to Friday – 7:30am to 4pm
• 33 days holiday allowance (including BH)
• Pension scheme
